“They got it wrong”: Josiane Balasko’s unfiltered remarks on Emmanuel Macron’s mandate

Josiane Balasko has agreed to talk politics, as the first round of the presidential election approaches. She returned to the columns of Midi Libre on the five-year term of Emmanuel Macron. A real “chaos” according to the 71-year-old actress.

Josiane Balasko does not have his tongue in his pocket. The proof: interviewed by the regional daily Free lunch Tuesday, April 5, on the occasion of her role in the play A Chalet in Gstaad, the actress agreed to talk politics. And she did not mince words when discussing the five-year term of Emmanuel Macron, whose policy left him with a bitter taste. “This five-year term has been strewn with disasters, estimated Josiane Balaskowithout filter. I’m not even talking about the start, which was marked by the Yellow Vests.” The 71-year-old actress added: “It was chaos, with these people being beaten up.”

Another highlight of the quinquennium ofEmmanuel Macron : the coronavirus pandemic. In March 2020, the President decreed confinement and 67 million French people were forced to stay at home for long weeks in order to curb the spread of Covid-19. “We found ourselves locked up and, whatever the choices that were made by the government, they were planted at the beginning”remembered Josiane Balasko. In particular, she points the finger at the fact that, according to her, the government has lied on the masks”.
