fun, news, tips… what else?

A couple shared their educational methods on social networks and for him, there is no question of forcing his children to brush their teeth even if they have cavities.

While some parents prefer to follow medical recommendations for their children, others prefer to do things their own way. No doctor’s appointments for the children, no obligations, no punishments… it is a so-called limitless educational model that is increasingly widespread in the United States, but also throughout the world. And parents do not hesitate to share their educational methods on social networks, and suddenly arouse many reactions from Internet users…

This is the case of this mother of two children, Adèle Allen, who posted a video on her youtube page where she explains that she does not force her children to brush their teeth. This video provoked many reactions, indeed the mother explains that she lets her children choose and that they do not go to the dentist either! So there is no certainty about the effectiveness of his method… She recognizes all the same that her children have cavities!

Mom-of-two explains why she doesn’t force them

For Adèle Allen, her decision is the right one and she explains it in many ways: “Many parents want to force and coerce their children to brush their teeth, with the conviction that it is essential to keep their child healthy and that thanks to this the teeth will not rot and fall out. For us, brushing our teeth is more something that they watch us do and then decide whether they want to do it or not. It’s quite controversial not to force your children to brush their teeth but my children have very similar, if not better, dental health than most children who brush their teeth regularly. I have yet to meet anyone who has a regular brushing routine for their child and has avoided cavities or any serious issues.” For her, the health of the teeth of their two children lies in what they eat. She therefore decided to adapt their diet with products such as coconut or parsley. which, according to her, preserve the teeth.

In the comments, Internet users were not really seduced by the method she uses, we can read: “My kids brush their teeth twice a day and they’ve never had cavities at 12 and 8.” or “Ow, is that you and your husband brush your teeth? Again Adele Allen replied: “Me yes, my husband not as much as me because he doesn’t like the feeling of hair. He finds other ways to clean his teeth…”
