“They look like Thai prostitutes”: moment of hesitation in TPMP after the intervention of Hugo Manos

Present in the program Touche pas à mon poste Monday June 5, 2023 on C8, columnist Hugo Manos caused a moment of hesitation live after an intervention concerning Jade and Joy Hallyday.

After a well-deserved weekend of rest, Cyril Hanouna was back at the helm of a new, unreleased issue of Do not touch My TV Monday, June 5, 2023, broadcast live on C8. As the end of the season approaches, the host was once again surrounded by his band of loyal columnists. Viewers were thus able to find Géraldine Maillet, Guillaume Genton, Raymond Aabou, Kelly Védovelli, Gilles Verdez, or even Hugo Manos on the set of the star program of C8. Like every beginning of the week, Cyril Hanouna and his team returned to the news of the past weekend.

The host notably mentioned Mother’s Day, which took place on Sunday, June 4, 2023. That day, Internet users published many messages, photos and videos on social networks, in order to express all the love they have for their respective mothers. This was particularly the case of Laeticia Hallyday. The widow of Johnny Hallyday, who died on December 5, 2017, published a snapshot with her two adopted daughters, Jade and Joy Hallyday. In the photo in question, the two teens are dressed quite sexy, with dresses highlighting their shapes. A photo that obviously did not please many Internet users, since the Hallyday family was strongly criticized following this publication.

Hugo Manos: “Girls are the clichés of Thai prostitution”

“Too bad your daughters are so naked”, “They look vulgar”, “There is only the class mom in this photo”, wrote some Internet users, which made Géraldine Maillet jump. “Leave him alone. She is with her two daughters, they are dressed as they want to dress (…) The message was very nice, the text was very moving, I don’t mind at all”, launched the columnist. Subsequently Hugo Manos also intervened, but his remarks caused a slight moment of hesitation during the broadcast. “Girls are the clichés of Thai prostitution“, he launched. Surprised, Cyril Hanouna wanted to clarify the origin of these remarks. “Did someone put this?“, he asked his columnist, to which the companion of Laurent Ruquier replied in the affirmative.
