She could not be present for the filming, but still wanted to express her love from a distance, via a video message. “A hello from my native Brittany where imperatives keep me a little far from you. Oh naughty fate! This little note to tell you that I miss you very much. But soon, the return to your Vaucluse, with your vines and your olive trees. And especially in your arms. I kiss you hard my little Thierry,” she said.
“It’s beautiful ! It feels good to hear what she says to me”, was moved Thierry, showing a photo of the one who now shares his life. The two lovebirds have therefore been able to pass the test of distance to fully live their love. To show his love for Claudine, Thierry then took it into his head to give her a gift. Thanks to his ingenuity, the farmer made a little heart out of olive wood. “It’s not much, it’s nothing but I want to show her that I care about her, that’s all”did he declare.

For Thierry, meeting Claudine is a happy ending after several years of wandering. Indeed, the favorite winegrower of viewers had experienced several romantic disappointments during his two participations in Love is in the meadow.
He thought he had found love with Mireille, a former letter carrier. But this story had not been able to succeed. “I went to Avignon, we got to know each other and I told her: ‘I would take you to the farm’ and she said yes. A week later, I went to pick her up, she spent the night, we ate… then I took her home the next day. But nothing happened!“, had declared the farmer to Karine Le Marchand.
