The French fashion designer Thierry Mugler (71) has already worked with many stars. Both David Bowie (1947-2016), George Michael (1963-2016) and Lady Gaga (34) have already dressed Mugler. But the 71-year-old is particularly fond of one celebrity: Kim Kardashian (39). "Kim is my great muse," he explains in an interview with the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung".
Among other things, Thierry Mugler designed the famous "wet look" that Kim Kardashian wore at the Met Gala 2019. "It was already clear to me twenty years ago that her figure type – like an ancient goddess – would have a comeback," continues Mugler. Kim is a perfect example of body shape. "She represents the future, the very feminine woman of the future." According to the designer, however, Kim is "not just a total sex bomb – who dares to show it". She is also a very clever woman. "She is also in the process of becoming a lawyer," the 71-year-old knows.
Kim Kardashian is not politically correct. "I mean, law students are usually very concerned about how they look. But Kim separates those two things." If she chooses the red carpet, then she's doing it right. "That is very strong."
