Thierry neuvic has become over time an actor very appreciated by the general public, which multiplies the successes in particular on the small screen. But he almost did not endorse a career in show business, he who was upset by the death of his stepfather, a professional stuntman.
Indeed, Thierry Neuvic (51 years old) was marked for life by the death, before his eyes, of this member of his family whom he adored. He recounted the tragic accident in the pages of the magazine Marie-France, in 2012. “I had a stuntman stepfather, a silent and generous man who raised me for ten years. When I was 14, he took me on a set and he died in front of my eyes. The cinema no longer existed for me“, he said then. In spite of this traumatic memory, he will end up discovering a belated passion for the profession of actor.
At the microphone of Purepeople.com, in 2013, Jenifer’s former companion – with whom he had a little boy – also spoke of the beginnings of what he would become his livelihood: “I never said I was going to be an actor. I had more ambition to make films at the start, rather than playing in them.“Towards the end of adolescence,”by desire for culture“, he enrolled in a theater course during which he could”play all the characters in the middle of seven or eight girl-women“. Thierry Neuvic took his first steps in star system in 1995 thanks to an episode of the series The judge is a woman. Since then, he has multiplied the roles on the small screen (Clara sheller, Mafiosa, Trapped…) but also the big one, where he landed in 2000 with Unknown code. And, inevitably, over the years it has had its ups and downs, doubts, frustration etc. “Like all actors, I had this kind of phase. The relationship to the image, the ego … It can be exhausting. But I see I’m still here, in demand, so I’m going to carry on“, he added to our microphone, still thrilled by his job as an actor.
