This Actor Was Cast to Play Superman, He Explains Why You’ve Never Seen Him in the Suit

“I went to a call for applications to play Superman, with auditions going on for a month. In 2006, it was Brandon Routh who finally played the DC superhero in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, followed by Henry Cavill in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Justice League. A new film with a brand new actor in the costume is expected for summer 2025.
