This supporter of Donald Trump offers a flashback to the beginning of the 20th century for women.
She is one of the people who spoke at the Republicans National Convention on August 25, 2020. This convention supports President Donald Trump's candidacy for re-election next November. Invited to speak out about the right to procreation, Abby Johnson, a staunch Conservative, notably defended the vote for the benefit of one person in each household. For this woman, in case of disagreement, the husband would necessarily have the last word in the name of the Bible, as she claims on Twitter: “In a pious household, the husband would have the last word” if the woman "honor her husband".
This quickly sparked controversy among American politicians, even within her own camp.
Abby Johnson is now a supporter of Donald Trump. She is also a strong anti-abortion activist. The one who was director of an abortion clinic which claims to have been threatened by pro-life movements left the structure in 2009 to campaign with these same movements. She says an abortion where the baby reminded her of her daughter would have changed her completely.
This woman is not her first attempt at controversy. Earlier in 2020, she suggested in a Youtube video that her own son should be under more police surveillance due to his skin color, as her son is mixed race.
This supporter of Donald Trump seems not to have finished wanting to talk about her.
