This barbecue and plancha presents the best quality/price ratio in our comparison

The QPL665 plancha from Riviera & Bar has two separately adjustable heating zones for individual or simultaneous cooking of food. This high-end plancha is as aesthetic as it is practical.

The Riviera & Bar QPL665 plancha blows hot and cold. Its design, finishes and two cooking zones are attractive. Its design is ingenious and it is quite simple to use. But the picture becomes slightly darker in the face of temperature variations and the slight lack of homogeneity of the device.

Strong points

  • Design and finishes.
  • Two cooking zones with two thermostats.
  • Grease guard.
  • Practical fat collector.

Weak points

  • Cooking surface (too bulky for the dishwasher).

Very close to the QPL665, the Riviera & Bar QPL650 adopts a slightly different design in terms of the handles. However, it also offers two independent cooking zones to cook food simultaneously at different temperatures. We would have liked to find a slightly more even heating, but the Riviera & Bar plancha has the merit of limiting temperature variations. With its non-stick coating and its juice collection tray to be extracted like a drawer, it is also easy to use.
