The election of Miss France 2023 took place this Saturday, December 17, 2022. The show was exceptional like every year, but a Miss fell and it went unnoticed.
Diane Leyre ceded her crown of Miss France to Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe who thus became Miss France 2023. The election which took place this Saturday, December 17 in room MA.CH 36 in Châteauroux was rich in emotion. We could see Jean-Pierre Foucault making the buzz dressed as Elton John, Sylvie Tellier in tears delivering her last speech before leaving the presidency of the committee or even Marine Lorphelin who was a member of the jury to cause a sensation.
On Twitter, Internet users did not go out of their way by publishing many gifs or sequences that marked them. They also noticed… That a Miss had fallen! A sequence that went unnoticed by viewers. “Why did no one tell me there had been a fall?” or : “There was a fall and no one talked about it?”. It was Miss Roussillon who stumbled but if the fall was not seen by anyone, it is simply because the Miss left the field of the cameras!
Who is Chiara Fontaine, Miss Roussillon?
Chiara Fontaine is 20 years old. She arrived in the 15 finalists of the election but she was not chosen to be in the last in the running. However, she realized her dream by participating in the beauty pageant as well as that of her grandmother who always encouraged her to appear. She would have liked to become Miss France for to defend a cause in particular: the fight against school bullying. Indeed, she lived the thing when she was a teenager.
“Participating in Miss France is a chance to be able to make your voice heard. I was shy for a long time but I did theater so it helped me, as did the speeches during the elections”. she had thus confided to TVMag before explaining: “I am very sensitive, which can be a quality or a defect. I am often told that I am sunny and close to people”.
