If the BOP7534B – identical to the BOP7538X we tested – were a car, it would be a Peugeot 205 GTI. Behind a somewhat (too) classic appearance hides a “Made in France” racing beast whose cooking performance rivals that of much more expensive models. So yes, it is preferable to be comfortable with cooking to take full advantage of this model which does not really help novices in their preparations. But apart from a teasing automatic start and a temperature stabilization which requires too much time for our taste, it is very difficult to fault anything about the energy-efficient Brandt BOP7534B.
