Children’s products are very often called into question, as last March when car seats from a major brand were recalled for safety problems. This Monday, April 15, 2024, it is the turn of a costume for babies and children to worry the authorities. Voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer, these disguises actually present a risk of suffocation linked to the unfastening of the zipper.

A children’s costume subject to a recall procedure
The disguise referred to by the recall procedure belongs to the MY OTHER ME – MOM brand and is sold in all brands Celebration day And Celebrate this, Celebrate that of France. More than 70 points of sale detailed in the recall sheet published on the Rappel Conso website such as in Angers, Bourges, Évreux, Gap, Mulhouse, Nîmes, and even Saint-Étienne.
According to the recall sheet, two references are concerned, these are the rabbit suit for babies aged 7 to 12 months and the rabbit suit for children aged 12 to 24 months. These references are sold under the following barcode: 8 435 408 281 287 and 8 435 408 281 294 and with a lot number 208 128 for the first reference and 208 129 for the second. Marketed between 12/18/2023 and 03/10/2024 in unit packaging throughout France, these two references have therefore been withdrawn from stores, but also from the online sales platforms on which they were present.
