In a recently published file, the magazine 60 million consumers reveals a study devoted to coffee machines. It made it possible to determine which one is the most reliable on the market, based on a panel of 6,000 people.
To start the day off right, there’s nothing like a good coffee. Caffeine, present naturally in this hot drink, is in fact an effective solution for boosting the nervous system and waking up your body quickly after a night’s sleep. This boost is essential to starting the day on the right foot for many of us. And to save time, rather than using a simple coffee maker, nothing is more practical than a good coffee machine!
Coffee is also the ideal drink to combat sluggishness during the day. Caffeine actually helps reduce drowsiness and increase attention. Rich in antioxidants, this drink even improves the immune system and slows down aging. So many good reasons to drink coffee regularly!

Two out of three people drink coffee across the planet
The 2nd most consumed drink in the world, coffee is drunk by 2.5 billion inhabitants. And the country where we drink it the most is not Italy or France, it’s Finland! They are such fans of it that they even organize a festival dedicated to coffee every year in their capital Helsinki. They mainly drink long black coffee, unlike the French who much prefer strong coffee, the famous espresso for which a coffee machine is essential.

It is therefore a growing market and the brands, aware of this lucrative business, are all competing in ingenuity to win over new customers. They do not hesitate to call on world-famous stars to promote their devices. The most famous advert in this area is probably the one where George Clooney drinks a Nespresso coffee and seems the happiest in the world with his famous “What else?”. An expression that has even passed into language and that many of us use to express our contentment.

A coffee machine brand tops the rankings
60 million consumers called on nearly 6,000 people for its study on coffee machines. They had to fill out a long and detailed questionnaire. Among the criteria used to select the best coffee machine: robustness, lifespan and ease of use. The Krups brand took the first 3 places on the podium. With prices varying between €70 and €119, the German brand offers a varied range of products at good value for money.
The number 1 place in this list goes to the Nespresso Krups model, which obtains a score of 15/20 with a reliability rate of 88.4%. A downside however: the successive breakdowns which are recurring on these machines. In fact, due to limescale, the machine system may seize and you will then have to use descaling products or call after-sales service. To avoid this, use filtered water or descale your machine regularly.
