this cult character is making a comeback, watch out PEGI 18

This iconic character from a Ubisoft license is finally back. And the least we can say is that we didn’t expect it. Fans may be surprised.

Ubisoft has many licenses under its belt that have been missing for some time. Their return is awaited by many fans, unfortunately, their wishes are not always granted. However, something happened. Indeed, a cult character from an iconic Ubisoft franchise is officially back. On the other hand, it is better to prepare for the shock, because it has changed a lot.

Ubisoft offers a crazy crossover

Some of you may have heard about a new Netflix animated series called Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. This has six episodes of around twenty minutes, and it has a pretty crazy feature. The show mixes several Ubisoft franchises together to create a completely crazy story. Thus, the framework of Captain Laserhawk is set in the dystopian universe of Far Cry 3’s wacky Blood Dragon expansion. Already, it sets the tone for the series. And among the main characters, we find in particular… Rayman.

You are not dreaming, Rayman is indeed part of the cast of this Netflix series which is already available. Certainly, this is not a new game from Ubisoft, but its new personality is worth the detour. Warning, the following lines will spoil some elements of the show. Rayman is here the biggest celebrity in the city of Eden, the place where the plot takes place. He is also the host of a popular talk show and a news anchor. So far, nothing strange, but you’re probably not prepared for what’s next.

The Ubisoft character lives in total depravity. His fortune and fame went to his head, and so he became a detestable figure. He constantly gets drunk, takes drugs, and throws insults around. This is clearly not the Rayman we knew in the various Ubisoft games, something he seems to make clear. All joking aside, for some fans of the license, this is probably a bit of a disappointment. The return of the savior of the Lums in a major video game production will still have to wait. For now, we have to be satisfied with the latest little game, Rayman Minireleased on Apple Arcade.
