Viewers will be in turmoil since Guy Lux’s cult show, Intervilles, should make its big comeback in 2023.
That’s it, it’s finally time for the big comeback! Indeed, the cult show Intercity should finally make a resounding comeback in the summer of 2023 on France 2, according to information from nice morningrelayed by Tele-Leisure. Created in 1962 by Guy Lux and Claude Savarit, the program which aimed to see two French cities confront each other in a friendly way through a series of physical tests and games of skill, on land, in water and in the air, was immediately a resounding success. After several years of absence, Intercity had the right to a special broadcast on June 29, 2013 on France 2 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the famous game. But this time, it is a real return in good and due form which is planned. Produced by Air Productions, the company owned by Nagui (Taratata, Do not forget the lyrics…), the new version of the show will not be exactly the same. Indeed, for budgetary reasons, the filming will not take place live and will be recorded. And no more question of changing places every week, only one site has been chosen. If Disneyland Paris has long been an option, the same for Parc Astérix, it is finally Futuroscope which was chosen to host the teams and the filming. Another big change: the absence of the cult cows, since their presence is now prohibited.

Guy Lux and Léon Zitrone are obviously the illustrious animators ofIntercity. But over the years, other personalities from the small screen have taken over to present the cult show, like Jean-Pierre Foucault, Fabrice, Nathalie Simon and Olivier Chiabodo. For the new version initially planned for 2020, it was first Bruno Guillon, Olivier Minne and Valérie Bègue who had been contacted to ensure the presentation. But due to the Coronavirus pandemic that has invaded the whole world, the project had been suspended. And for the 2023 version, only Bruno Guillon has been recalled.
