This customizable connected watch will be inspired by the Pixel Watch

Vivo will launch its Vivo Watch 3 in a few days. The Chinese manufacturer seems to have been largely inspired by Google watches for its customizable design.

The Vivo Watch 3

We are used to connected watches that are inspired by the square format with rounded edges of the Apple Watch. For its next smartwatch, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo seems to have sought its inspiration elsewhere, from Google.

As reported by the site GSM Arena, Vivo is indeed preparing to unveil its Vivo Watch 3 during an event organized on November 13 in China, for the release of the future Vivo X100. Ahead of this conference, the manufacturer has already shared, on the social network Weibo, four illustrations highlighting the design and certain characteristics of the watch.

In particular, we can discover a large rotating crown, positioned at the top right of the case, which should allow you to navigate the interface. This crown is accompanied by a button positioned a little lower, as well as a perforation that could accommodate a microphone with, on the other side of the case, a slot for the speaker to make voice calls. The watch is also equipped with a heart rate monitor on the back with four emitting LEDs and four brightness sensors to best measure heart rate. We can also note the presence of a round screen with a slightly curved protective glass, even if the screen itself remains flat.

A watch that can be personalized thanks to the bracelet

The analogy with the Pixel Watch and the Pixel Watch 2 does not stop at the presence of this round panel or the rotating crown, but extends to the format of the watch itself. Indeed, the four visuals of the Vivo Watch 3 allow you to discover two bracelets in different formats, one in silicone integrated directly into the case, another in leather attached to horns. We can also see what appears to be the attachment system, which is particularly flexible and which suggests that the watch itself, like the Pixel Watch, is completely round, in the shape of a pebble. Therefore, just like Google’s models, Vivo’s watch should be widely customizable, simply by adding the bracelet format you want.

We will know more about the Vivo Watch 3 during its official launch in China on November 13. It is not yet known whether the watch will also be launched later in France. In China, the watch should be equipped with Vivo’s in-house system, BlueOS.
