Invited to RTL on Saturday March 11, journalist Thomas Sotto revealed a disagreement that pitted him against his colleague Laurent Delahousse a few weeks earlier.
It happens that colleagues are not not always on the same wavelength. Thomas Sotto experienced this some time ago. Over time, the 49-year-old journalist has become, in the eyes of viewers, an essential figure in television. Thus, after several years spent at BFM TV, he continued with the M6 group, before joining France Télévisions. Some weekends, he happens to replace Laurent Delahousse at the presentation of the television news of France 2. However, at the end of February, he did not host the magazine 8:30 p.m. on Sundaycontrary to usual.

While Éric Dussart asked him why he hadn’t not honored this unmissable appointmenthe replied that this decision was not his, but that of Laurent Delahousse, with whom he had a disagreement. “It is something that surprised meTo tell you all”, he conceded. Thomas Sotto then confessed to Éric Dussart that he had “not very well understood” the reason why he had been asked to no longer ensure the animation of this magazine. “It’s Laurent’s decision, so I accept itbut I don’t find it very relevant for the antenna”, he confided on the airwaves of RTL. Before specifying that this announcement had been made to him in a way “a little brutal”.
