A few weeks ago, M6 launched its new free streaming platform. On this occasion, the channel made available numerous new series including “The Spies of Terror”.

On Tuesday May 14, M6 launched with great fanfare its new streaming platform renamed for the occasion M6+, which aims to compete with other services of the genre, in particular that of TF1.

And to attract new viewers, the platform has relied on numerous exclusive content including Les Espions de la Terror, a completely new French series which should arrive soon on the channel.

This punchy fiction takes us back to November 13, 2015, a date forever engraved in the memory of the French, and follows a group of French intelligence agents.

Diving into French intelligence

The hunt for those responsible for the November 2015 attacks is putting the French secret services under great strain. Among them, Lucie, an experienced and determined DGSI anti-terrorist agent, fights to advance the investigation.

Against the advice of her management, she joins forces with Malika, a seasoned analyst from the DGSE. For his part, despite the paranoia that reigns within the services, Vincent, major at the territorial DGSI of Lille, does everything possible to protect his new source and allow him to infiltrate the heart of French jihadism.

The limitless commitment of these anonymous heroes, ready to do anything to protect France from new attacks, will undermine their private lives and awaken deep scars.

A punchy mini-series

Adapted from the eponymous investigation by Matthieu Suc, an investigative journalist specializing in intelligence and terrorism issues at Mediapart, The Spies of Terror takes us on a relentless hunt for DGSE and DGSI agents to find the sponsors of the November 13 attacks.

Through the destiny of four characters played by Rachida Brakni, Fleur Greffier, Vincent Elbaz and Pierre Perrier, screenwriter Franck Philippon highlights the work of the men and women behind the scenes who work for the safety of all, and who had to put their lives aside in order to protect those of the French.

Gripping and gripping, the mini-series manages to captivate us for four episodes, and gains dimension when it deals with the post-traumatic stress of those who were close to these attacks.

Between the difficulty of rebuilding oneself and the desire to do everything so that this tragedy does not happen again, the characters of the Spies of Terror have multiple facets which bring a very particular dimension to the fiction.

Now find the four episodes of Spies of Terror for free on M6+. The mini-series will be broadcast very soon on M6.
