According to brand new Fortnite leaks, Epic Games are planning to bring Jetpacks back there. This would be the very first time in four years.
If you want to ensure victory in a game of Fortnite, you will have to make yourself a difficult target for your enemies. This can be mostly achieved by taking advantage of movement mechanics like sliding.
Another fun way for players to get around the map was through the use of Jetpacks. Additionally, leaks suggest that this classic move item could return for the first time in four years in the game’s classic mode.
Jetpacks may be making a comeback in Fortnite’s battle royale mode.
On February 23, famous leaker HYPEX tweeted that Epic Games would be working on a jetpack vault. This one might be available for a few Fortnite factions.
According to the leak, this new addition will arrive in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2, which HYPEX described as a “war season”. We could see an intense battle between the IOs and The Seven.
Jetpacks have already been vaulted and re-rolled several times for special modes. But this leak suggests that some factions might be able to collect them from chests in Fortnite’s normal mode.

While in-game, Fortnite’s Jetpacks allowed players to fly through the air in order to escape or close in on enemies.
It’s good to keep in mind that these are just leaks for now. This information should therefore be considered with a dose of skepticism, at least until official confirmation.
