To ride on the real explosion that was the Fallout series, Amazon took the opportunity to distribute all the games from the Bethesda license to subscribers free of charge. This is particularly the case with Fallout 76, the latest title in the franchise, released in 2018. It stands out greatly from other Fallout games by offering a multiplayer component. You join a server and can help other Vault 76 Residents rebuild Appalachia after the bombs fell.
We thus find more or less the same gameplay as the very pleasant Fallout 4, but with a multiplayer twist. In addition to exploring a large open world and building bases, group activities will therefore be available. We can notably cite raids against particularly tough bosses. However, the game can largely be explored solo. This is thanks to numerous extensions deployed since its launch in 2018. The Appalachians are now much more populated than at the time, to the delight of budding explorers. Notable factions that have joined the game include the iconic Brotherhood of Steel. If you only feel like wearing power armor at the Shelter, it’s there that you can equip yourself with the most powerful models.
How to get Fallout 76 for free via Amazon’s service
If you’ve never tried Fallout 76 before, you can grab it for free via Prime Gaming. Please note that this offer only concerns the PC version of the game, and more specifically on a machine with a Windows partition. The code provided by Amazon in fact exclusively targets the rather unloved Microsoft Store. It’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons of this offer. Be careful though: it will expire on May 15!
