The 81st Golden Globes ceremony largely rewarded the Oppenheimer film, winning five trophies out of eight nominations. A French drama was also honored in the Best Foreign Film category.
The cinema had its eyes on Los Angeles last night. It was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills that the 81st Golden Globe Awards who dedicated the film Oppenheimer, one of the biggest hits of the 2023 Box Office. The feature film by Christopher Nolan which tells the life of the man who is often presented as the “Father of nuclear numbers” was in the running in eight categories. He finally picked up five trophiesincluding those of Best Drama FilmBest Director, Best Original Score and that of Best Actor which was awarded to Cillian Murphy.
Furthermore, the series Succession was awarded four times during the ceremony, with the awards for Best Drama Series, Best Actress for Sarah Snook or even Best Actor for Kieran Culkin. Jumble, Emma Stone was praised for her performance by Bella Baxter in Poor Creatures, The Boy and the Heron was named Best Animated Film and barbie was honored with two trophies including that of Best Song: What Was I Made For? of Billie Eilish.

Anatomy of a fall had already rewarded a first time during the Cannes film festival in May of last year. The film received the prestigious Palme d’Or. Before a triumph at the 2024 Oscars?
