This frozen chocolate bar is the most caloric of all, to be enjoyed in moderation this summer

Chocolate bars are irresistible, but in summer, we tend to prefer their refreshing counterparts: ice cream bars. Here is the one that should not be abused because it is the most caloric of all.

It is just as essential as the aperitif and its very salty biscuits, the ice cream is a refreshing delicacy that can be eaten as a snack or as a dessert. Only downside, it is better not to abuse ice cream because some are particularly rich in sugar as well as fat, and therefore high in calories. This is particularly the case for ice cream derived from chocolate bars and other delicacies from the confectionery section of our supermarkets.

Ilias, a fitness and nutrition coach who goes by the handle @the_fitsapiens on Instagram, set out to compare the content of calories these ultra-gourmet ice creams that delight young and old alike on the beach during the holidays. Ferrero Rocher, Oreo, Bounty, Mars, Twix, KitKat or Daim… The coach with a degree in general medicine revealed the number of calories contained in each of these ice creams from major brands in a summer post. The most caloric of all is none other than an ice cream bar with a good taste of peanuts and caramel: the Iced Snickers.

The worst ice cream bar to consume this summer

With its 341 calories for 100 ml of ice cream, the frozen Snickers stands out as the most caloric ice cream bar, well ahead of the frozen Mars (266 calories for 100 ml), the frozen bounty (267 calories for the same quantity), or still the frozen Twix (which makes you ingest no less calories 286 calories for 100 ml of ice cream consumed).

Its combination of ice cream, peanuts, melting caramel and cocoa coating, should not be taken lightly, especially if you are watching your line or looking to lose weight. On the Yuka application, the composition of this ice cream bar is also considered “bad” for health and obtains the score of 0/100 because it contains no less than 5 additives, in addition to being a little too sweet and to contain too much saturated fat.
