Former footballer David Beckham touches the British with this gesture in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

He arrived incognito. This Friday, September 16, while miles of queues formed in London to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, the famous football player, David Beckham was also seen waiting for his turn. The 47 year old man was spotted in the middle of the crowd. As required by royal protocol, it was necessary to be presentable to pay a last tribute to the sovereign who died at the age of 96. So David Beckham pulled out a nice white shirt, black tie, black coat and a beret on his head.

The former PSG player also confided that he had arrived very early in the morning, thinking there wasn’t going to be much of a line. Except he wasn’t the only one who had this idea. “I thought coming at 2 a.m. it was going to be a little quieter. I was wrong. Everyone had that in mind” he explained. “People here are of all ages. There was an 84 year old lady walking around. There was a 90 year old man walking around. Everyone wants to be here to be part of this experience and celebrate what Her Majesty has done for us” he points out. Victoria Beckham’s darling was also seen during the live TV broadcast.
