this grandmother receives a prescription to "cuddle her granddaughter" after her vaccine

On Twitter, two sisters unveiled the adorable note from their mother's doctor, after her second injection of the vaccine against covid-19.

A little sweetness in a world of bullies. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, affectionate physical contact has been scarce. All the more so for our elders, who are recommended not to see, kiss or hug their grandchildren. The vaccine against this coronavirus thus appears to be a second wind for many grandparents.

In New York State, USA, where the disease is rife, a grandmother decided to get the vaccine so she could be with her loved ones. After the second injection, this granny was treated to a nice surprise from her doctor: a prescription authorizing her to go cuddle her granddaughter. It was her daughter, Jessica Shaw, who shared the story on Twitter on March 9.

The young woman then posted a moving video of her mother giving her first hug in a year. You can see how touched she is to regain physical contact with her family.

As well as being adorable, this little phrase had a big impact on this grandmother's life, as her second daughter explained on Twitter. “My mother's doctor knew she was nervous about going back to her life. She found a way to reassure and soothe him. It's practicing your profession with the heart "Laura Shaw Frank wrote on the social network.

A story that balances the heart in these difficult times.
