Their tormentor, Christophe, is a fifty-year-old IT consultant. Described as “jovial” And “turned towards others”the man naturally gets closer to the children’s father. In 2020, while the family is experiencing some difficulties linked to the health context, Christophe, under the pretext of helping them, spends a lot of time at home. He is helpful, gives gifts to children, passes for the “nice uncle”. Nobody is suspicious.

Unfortunately, his motivations are quite different. One evening, invited to dinner, he suggests to the parents that put the children to bed while they clear out and clean the kitchen. That’s when things go wrong. “When we said good night, pretending he was giving us massages, he would do it to us…”Emmanuel admits, half-heartedly. Touching and aggression are increasingwithout the parents noticing.

Sexual predator on the loose

“I thought I knew him, but in fact he was a predator, a pervert who insidiously entered our family circle.”reports the father who feels terribly guilty about it. And he didn’t know how right he was! Once the boys had spoken, the investigation revealed that Christophe was a repeat offender. Worse: while he possessed a criminal record for similar offenceshe worked as a water ski instructor at the Toulouse club. Nonsense for the parents, angry that this man could have been released without supervision.
