This herbal tea is the worst for your health according to 60 million consumers

This is why the magazine 60 Million consumers sounded the alarm in its March issue, revealing the substances hidden in our sachets of tea and herbal tea. The results are rather worrying because among the 48 products tested by the journalists who conducted the survey, many of them actually contain pesticide residues, some of which are even banned in France or Europe. However, the results are less alarming on the side of verbena-based infusions and detox infusions analyzed by the magazine, unlike green teas and black teas which are mostly singled out by 60 Million consumers. “Only Lipton Green Tea Detox Infusion contains a banned pesticide” says the magazine, thus revealing the name of the worst herbal tea.

According to the ranking established by the magazine’s journalists, the herbal tea that is the least recommended is the Detox green tea herbal tea from the Lipton brand. She only gets a score of 9.5/20. And for good reason, it contains glyphosate, a herbicide authorized in the European Union until the end of December 2022. This pesticide was also detected in 30% of the products tested.
