After the past, but very wet days, more sun is finally announced for the upcoming long Pentecost weekend – and the temperatures are also rising. A little foretaste of summer.

After very warm temperatures at the end of last week, there was another slight cold snap – the warm morning air was replaced by wet cold. The south and west were particularly hard hit by the precipitation. There were also rain showers in the north and east, but not enough to nourish nature. In some cases, the forest fire warning level five has already been declared.

The weather looks very sunny until the end of May

According to forecasts, the weather is looking very rosy until the end of May. Especially on the Pentecost weekend we could be really lucky. The next 14 days should remain very dry overall. The weather seems to be getting ready for summer, because the temperatures are also climbing.

A high-pressure system will build up over Germany on Thursday and Friday. The clouds will almost disappear by Friday, making room for up to 16 hours of sunshine. Temperatures fluctuate between 17 and 23 degrees during the day. At night, however, it is still fresh, the values ​​drop to 12 to 4 degrees. Ground frost may even occur in some places.

There will be hardly any clouds in the sky on Saturday either. The temperatures rise again and reach 20 to 25 degrees. Perfect for spending most of the day outside. In some places, temperatures could already be very summery and exceed 25 degrees.

Pentecost Sunday and Monday will be very spring-like

Pentecost Sunday and Monday also dress in spring-like garb, the sun continues to shine for several hours. Cumulus clouds can occasionally form over southern Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria and cloud the weather a little. There will be occasional showers and thunderstorms, but otherwise it will remain dry.

The temperatures rise on Sunday and Monday to 18 to 24 degrees, locally sometimes to a summery 26 degrees. On Monday, however, it will cool down a little in some regions, with temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees expected north of Cologne and Berlin. A few more clouds can also be seen in the sky, from which it can occasionally rain lightly. Towards the south it is more like 18 to 24 degrees.

All in all, the long weekend will be very sunny and the temperatures also invite you to spend your free time outside.
