CANAL+

The scam of the century, which occurred in France and Europe between 2008 and 2009. Billions went up in smoke on the new financial market for “carbon quotas” invented to fight against global warming.

This is how D’argent et de sang, one of the most anticipated series of this second half of the year, is described. Unveiled in Cannes and presented in selection at the 80th Venice Film Festival in September, this thriller in 12 episodes is directed by Xavier Giannoli, to whom we owe the multi-caesarized Lost Illusions.

THE SCAM OF THE CENTURY CONDUCTED IN THE SERIES OF THE YEAR

Inspired by a true story and adapted from the investigative book by Médiapart journalist Fabrice Arfi released in 2018, this CANAL+ Original Creation describes how two street urchins from Belleville managed to embezzle billions from the biggest brains of Bercy. Between lies, money and passions, the filmmaker once again explores the relationship between humans and their vices, in a spectacularly paced series, alternating action scenes, investigation and machination.

An explosive cocktail that can already be seen in the first images of the series, revealed by CANAL + on social networks. Electric, the teaser also allows you to discover the impressive cast of this oh so awaited thriller.

NIELS SCHNEIDER AND RAMZY BEDIA SUED BY VINCENT LINDON

We will therefore find Vincent Lindon in the role of customs inspector Simon Weynachter, but also Niels Schneider. The actor thus replaces Gaspard Ulliel, originally chosen to play Jérôme Attias – character inspired by businessman Arnaud Mimran – before his tragic skiing accident in January 2022.

They are joined by Ramzy Bedia, Judith Chemla, the Franco-Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko and David Ayala (A Triumph), André Marcon (Lost Illusions), or even Yvan Attal. If no date has been announced, our patience should quickly be rewarded since we know that the series is coming “Soon on CANAL+”. We look forward !
