This Is Us: New trailer gives first glimpses of season five

The fifth season of "This Is Us" starts on October 28th in the US. A trailer has now been published that reveals the first details.

The successful NBC series "This Is Us" is entering the next round. Originally, the fifth season in the US should flicker on the screens from November 11, 2020. However, the start has been brought forward to October 28th. Now the station published on twitter a new trailer that reveals the first content-related details.

The almost 90-minute trailer begins with a look back at the finale of the fourth season, in which Randall Pearson and his brother Kevin fought a bitter fight. But not only the resulting gap between the two is apparently a big issue in season five. You can also see Randall and his family gathering in front of the television and watching the "Black Lives Matter" movements.

Corona pandemic appears in "This Is Us"

Previously confirmed series creator Dan Fogelman (44) via Twitterthat the corona pandemic will be taken up in the new season. This is also hinted at in the trailer: For example, Kevin can be seen getting into the car wearing a face mask. A short excerpt from Randall's birthday party is also shown. Particularly touching: In one scene, Kevin caresses pregnant Madison's stomach.

In the fifth season, the actors Sterling K. Brown (44), Chrissy Metz (40), Justin Hartley (43), Chris Sullivan (40), Susan Kelechi Watson (38), Milo Ventimiglia (43) and Mandy Moore (36 ) back with them and slipped into their parade roles.
