As we know, Google is preparing a folding version of its smart phone pixels.

Today, we discover first images and various information about this Pixel Fold.

Google is also getting into the folding smartphone

It’s been a few years since the smartphone market welcomed the first folding phones. Smartphones that unfold to turn into a tablet (hello the Galaxy Z Fold 4), but which can also take the form of a flip phone (such as the Motorola Razr for example), as in the past.


If Samsung, Motorola or Huawei have already distinguished themselves in the field, while waiting for Apple, it is Google which should soon embark on the battle. Indeed, based on various sources announced as very reliable, Front Page Tech was able to make various renderings to discover what this Pixel Fold should look like.

No gift the Pixel Fold?

The Google Pixel Fold should therefore opt for the smartphone / tablet format, like a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The future folding smartphone signed Google could have a large photo section (horizontally), with, one imagines, all the qualities inherent in the Pixel range.

In the folded position, the smartphone would adopt a “classic” format, with a large screen covering almost the entire surface. At its top, a small punch to house the front camera, while the fingerprint sensor would be located on the ignition button on the side. Under the hood, we could find a Tensor G2 chip.

Finally, with regard to the price, it is rumored that this future Google Pixel Fold could be displayed at a price of… 1,799 dollars.

The customer could choose between two colors, namely chalk Where Obsidianbut the latter will have to be patient, the presentation of the Pixel Fold not being planned before the future Google I / 0 conference in May 2023.
