this little boy walks for the first time after being paralyzed (video)

The video of a little boy walking with his walker moved the web. Suffering from inflammatory disease of the spinal cord, the child put in monumental efforts and recovered within months.

It's a very nice video that has moved the news since the beginning of the month. A 2-year-old boy, Alaric, suffers from a rare and dangerous disease called transverse myelitis. This disease causes inflammation and damage to the spinal cord, and risks paralyzing its victims. This is what happened to Alaric.

But on February 3, after long weeks of struggle, the little boy was able to walk using his walker, without anyone's help! A great victory shared on the Akron Children's Hospital Instagram account.

Alaric's fight

Admitted to hospital in early December, Alaric was immediately taken to the care of doctors. As of December 20, the brave little guy has already made enormous progress. Alaric worked tirelessly with physiotherapists twice a day to regain his abilities.

Helped by his daddy Dustin Bridgeman, the little boy went for long walks every day. He even seemed to befriend everyone he encountered, according to the hospital post.

Finally, the week of February 3, the incredible efforts of little Alaric paid off. Before letting him go home, the hospital set up a mini road on the hallway floor and hung a finish line with flags, with a banner that read "I did it !". Alaric crossed the finish line like a boss, and was able to find his home.

Many were the congratulations in the comments of the Instagram post, which testify to the little boy's courage and bravery. A true champion!
