Full of good humor, Chicken Little, released in theaters in 2005, is good-natured family entertainment, guaranteeing a guaranteed moment of relaxation. Funny, action-packed and not devoid of emotion, the animated film is also distinguished by a hell of a dose of the absurd. – As well as being based on the imagination of director Mark Dindal, Chicken Little is also the free adaptation of the animated short Chicken Little directed in 1943 by Clyde Geronimi, the director of some Disney classics such as Cinderella (1950), Peter Pan (1953), Lady and the Tramp (1955) or 101 Dalmatians (1961). A short which was itself inspired by the traditional tale The Sky Is Falling.
– Among the French voices of Chicken Little are two renowned actors: Lorànt Deutsch, who lends her voice to the hero, and Claire Keim, who “embodies” the cane Abby Mallard. The original version benefits from the presence of Zach Braff (Chicken Little), Joan Cusack (Abby) or even Dan Molina (Fish).
