this little extra option will make your working days easier

Google Calendar adds the ability to hide tasks already completed during the day. Enough to manage your To-do list more precisely.

If you don’t know it, Google Calendar, or Google Agenda in the language of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, is an application for… managing your calendar. Practical thanks to its integration with the entire Google suite (Meet, Gmail, Docs and others), you can also use it to manage your day’s to-do list.

After a visual overhaul of Chrome with Material You sauce, Google has decided to reinforce the virtues of its calendar to manage daily tasks, with a small, very simple option.

What I don’t see is over

As spotted 9to5Googlesome users were greeted with a small message stating: “Completed tasks are now hidden: Use this menu to show or hide completed tasks. »

Basically, the option is activated by default. You can deactivate it by going to the drop-down menu allowing you to choose the period covered by your calendar. There, at the very bottom, an option to check or uncheck is displayed: “Show completed tasks”.

With the ability to delete weekends and not display declined events, Calendar wants to allow users to further refine their use. Some will prefer not to see what is finished while others will prefer to be able to go back and contemplate the magnitude of their work. The option currently appears to be absent on mobile.
