This magical Pixel 8 feature is coming to old Google smartphones

Initially accessible on the Pixel 8a, this new feature is now available on older Pixel models. If Magic Retouch is available on your Pixel 6 or 7, a pop-up should open when opening the camera. Offering an explanation about the feature, he invites the user to try it in Google Photos. Please note, you must have the latest version of the application to use it.

From then on, it is possible to press on the area to modify, circle it or color it to make modifications using artificial intelligence.

Please note, owners of other Android and iOS smartphones are entitled to ten free magic edits per month in Google Photos. To do more, it is necessary to have a Google One Premium subscription.

Some hardware prerequisites are still required: at least Android 8.0, 4 GB of RAM and a 64-bit chip or an iPhone running iOS 15 minimum.
