this makeup trend brightens your eyes

This year, eye makeup is in the spotlight to enhance your eyes. Each season a new trend emerges. For sunny days, head for eyeshadows that combine transparency and ultra-luminous effect.

After a very pronounced make-up – with covering foundation, highlighter, contouring, matte lipstick and cut-crease – then a year without really putting on make-up, induced by the wearing of the obligatory mask, beauty trends have evolved enormously. The emphasis is more on the look and the improved “no make-up” make-up was essential. It is therefore no surprise that the stardust shadow is considered the new makeup trend of this spring and early summer.

As its name suggests, star meaning star and dust dust, this type of eye shadow will subtly highlight your eyes and therefore your look, as if you had applied stardust. The effect is neither really sparkling nor glittery, but is somewhere in between and comes close to the holographic effect. This trend might remind you of the frosty blue eyeshadows that were all the rage in the late 90s and 2000s, but after all, fashion is just about to start all over again.

How to wear the stardust shadow?

To brighten up your eyes, just choose the right eye shadow. This will have to play more on the reflections that it will bring than on the intensity of the color. Indeed, here we are looking for the light to be subtly hooked on your mobile eyelid. The texture of your eyeshadow will also be important. Prefer those which are in gel or in cream and which will be able to fade very easily so that the pearls present in them are as in suspension on your eyes. You can also use translucent and shiny eyeshadows that you usually put on top of a more colorful eye shadow.

To master this trend, you don’t have to be an expert and handle brushes and eyeshadows to perfection. Use a flat brush or the pulp of your fingers then pat the eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelid. Do not hesitate to go up towards your brow bone to create a kind of luminous and diffused aura around your eye. If the stardust shadow is sufficient on its own and goes perfectly with a very luminous complexion (or even if you do not make up your complexion), you can easily enhance it by applying a touch of color in the inner corner or by creating a nice line of eyeliner.

The influencers have already opted for this new makeup, so why not you?
