A tiktoker has shared a simple tip for cleaning IKEA’s iconic high chair. So, convinced?
If you’re a parent of young children, you’ve probably gone through the high chair stage. And you surely remember with emotion the difficulties you had to clean this one. The food that gets stuck in the cracks, the tray that sticks, the cushion that we wash every week. She recently shared a genius trick to make the Antilop high chair sparkling clean.
“A deep cleaning”
The young mother of two boys starts her video like this: “Do you have one of these IKEA high chairs like me, because I love them”. Then she shows off her really convincing technique.
She quickly removes the legs and disassembles the chair herself. She puts the chair part in the bottom of her dishwasher. She also manages to place the high chair tray on the top shelf of her dishwasher. In a few minutes the trick is done. This is a very simple IKEA hack to make! The video has been viewed over 200,000 times. You don’t necessarily think about it, but there are a lot of childcare items that you can put in the dishwasher, for example bath toys.
