Token Systems is a series of webinars by BerChain eV that shed light on token-based systems from an economic, creative, developmental and legal point of view.

Token Systems is a series of weekly BerChain eV web seminars taking place in April 2021 that explore token-based systems in detail. The lectures include an introduction to some of the most important topics such as business, design & development, governance, legal engineering and best practices on token-based systems, crypto economics, token engineering and crypto assets.

Some of the main topics of these webinars include fundamentals of crypto economics, token economies, token design, decentral governance and legal engineering. The webinars will bring together industry experts who will guide attendees through these topics:

  • Introduction to token systems
  • construction and development
  • economy
  • Legal engineering

BerChain: The Events

It starts on 9th Aprilwhen Shermin Voshmgir from Token Kitchen will lead through the “Introduction to Token Systems” in the first event of the webinar series. This will be followed by a webinar by Keyko product developer Clément Bihorel: “Token Engineering Fundamentals”.

The second event will take place on April 16 will take place from 5 p.m. and will focus on “Design and Development of Token Systems”, on which Renzo D’Andrea will comment. Then Sebnem Rusitschka takes the helm and speaks about “Token Engineering Practice”.

A week later it goes on April 23 the “Economy of Token Systems”. First, Juan Carlos Escallon, the head of the Blockchain Academy at the Blue Swan Academy, will speak on the subject of “Use Cases of Token Systems in DeFi: High Level Overview on the different roles of tokens in the DeFi Economy”. Then the Spielworks founder Adrian Krion gives insights into the topic “Liquidity of Tokens and how Token Economies benefit from DeFi.”

The closing event will take place on April, 30th under the main topic “Legal Engineering”. The Kleros CTO Clément Lesaege will speak about “Use case: On-Chain Disputes on Kleros”, while Esen Esener from the Bitwala compliance team will focus on the subject of “Legal Engineering”.

The BerChain manager Stefania Artusi will introduce the respective webinars from 5 p.m., followed by a Q&A during each appointment.
