Twin pairs are always fascinating, but biracial twins are even more so! Jade Ball is Cole and Klay’s mom. These adorable babies are twins and yet they don’t look alike at all.

In April 2020, the British Jade Ball, 32, gave birth to twins like no other. From their birth Cole and Klay weren’t exactly alike, but at this point many pairs of twins are different from each other. But as the months go by, as babies get bigger and bigger, so do their differences.
Cole looks more and more like his father, Kade, who is half Jamaican. Her hair turns brown like her eyes and her skin turns matte.
Klay has a small, curly blond head, big blue eyes and very fair skin.
Cole and Klay are biracial twins.

According to British research, this situation is extremely rare: Interracial couples who are expecting twins have a 1 in 500 chance that their children will be born with different skin colors.
“The physical traits that you can see in a person are only a very small fragment of the genetic diversity of human populations.”said Dr. Bryce Mendelsohn, a medical geneticist at the University of California, San Francisco.
“Often times we only focus on the things our eyes can see, but what we see is only the tip of the iceberg. Everyone’s actual genetic diversity is much greater.”, he added.

Personalities that are just as different

This difference is so striking that every day Jade and Kade have many questions answered about their children.
“Some people don’t believe they are twins,” she said. “They look so different that it doesn’t even occur to them”
Much more than their physical appearance, the personalities of the two little boys are also totally different.
“Klay is the most mischievous and in absolutely everything. He loves to dance and climb, whereas Cole has always been happy to sit and watch and understand everything”, unveiled Jade Ball.

But Klay and Cole aren’t the only biracial twins. In 2016, in Quincy, Illinois, Kalani and Jarani Dean were born, also biracial twins. Kalani was born with a white skin color like her mother, and her sister Jarani was born with black skin color, like her father.

Although these twins are all different, they are nonetheless adorable!
