This multicooker presents the best quality/price ratio in our comparison

The Cookeo 80 recipes CE854B10 uses the interface of the first Cookeo and integrates barely more recipes, but it can count on the Moulinex application to inspire and guide users as needed.

The Cookeo 80 recipes CE854B10 is one of the simplest and most affordable versions of the famous Moulinex multicooker. It includes all the functions we know (simmering, steam cooking, pressure cooking, etc.), but is not entitled to the beautiful touch screen of the Cookeo Touch, nor to a wifi or Bluetooth connection which would allow to download new recipes. It is thus limited to the 80 that it ships initially, and is ultimately barely more generous than the very first Cookeo, from which it uses the now dated interface. This small color screen, however, guarantees quick access to the different cooking modes, while the Moulinex application offers more than 2000 recipes to follow in parallel on a smartphone or tablet. It is therefore more practical, especially since the settings are not automatic, but some will undoubtedly prefer to take out their smartphone rather than spend more money in order to afford a better equipped model.

Strong points

  • Time saving.
  • Non-stick bowl.
  • Very easy to use.
  • Moulinex application with many recipes.
  • Cleaning and maintenance is simple.
  • Perfectly quiet during preheating and cooking.

Weak points

  • No USB or Ethernet port, or Wi-Fi.
  • Preheating, which can sometimes take a long time, is not taken into account in the cooking times announced.
  • Clutter.

The second best quality/price ratio

As promised, everyone can use the Cookeo CE700100 without special know-how. The promise of saving time is also kept. If use and maintenance are very simple, we regret that this multicooker does not have a USB port or any connection to add and expand the number of recipes. We made these same criticisms of the CE700100 model. Food lovers, move on, the lack of preparation will frustrate you. Provided you are in the target audience, have space and adjust the seasonings, the Cookeo keeps its promises.
