With the kick off of Warzone Pacific Season 4, Raven Software has introduced a brand new map to the battle royale, Good Fortune. This idyllic island, home to a band of mercenaries, is very different from Verdansk, Caldera and even Rebirth Island.
Since its deployment, the narrow streets of Bonne Fortune have become the playground of choice for SMGs. Enough to allow newcomers like the Marco 5 to shine and old favorites like the MP-40 to come back in force.
Good Fortune is the spearhead of Season 4 of Warzone.
However, assault rifles are also highly valued there. If for the time being everyone has eyes only for the NZ-41, while a nerve hangs in its face, it is time to consider other options like the AS44 from Vanguard, which can work wonders on this kind of cards, provided of course you equip it wisely.
AS44 Could Make a Strong Return to Warzone, Thanks to Good Fortune
As of late, the AS44 has been hyped up by a number of content creators due to its most decent TTK and particularly fast rate of fire.
Although the Assault Rifle can be accessorized to maximize its TTK and perform like an SMG, it has quite a bit of recoil that needs to be taken into account. YouTuber WhoISImmortal came up with the idea of a class that allows the AS44 to shine while mastering its recoil.

Indeed, according to WZRanked, the AS44 only has a pick rate of 0.58. It hasn’t been completely abandoned, but it still needs to prove itself to benefit from renewed interest.
Whether it will make it into the meta remains to be seen, but with its impressive TTK and viability at all ranges, the AS44 is definitely a weapon not to be overlooked.
