Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have unveiled a sumptuous trailer for “Star Wars Outlaws”. A title designed in open mode now expected for August 30! Pictures.
Jointly announced by Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games more than three years ago but without a title at the time, Star Wars Outlaws has since been revealed sparingly.
Developed by Massive Entertainment and the reinforcement of eight in-house studios (!!!) on a new version of its Snowdrop game engine which has something under the hood, Star Wars Outlaws will invite players to discover a Star Wars universe whose events will take place between Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
The publisher has just released a new and very beautiful trailer, this time focused on the story of the game. Start the player at 2”45!
As the Empire relentlessly pursues its goal of annihilating the Rebel Alliance, the criminal underworld continues to grow. Players will take on the role of a character named Kay Vess, played by Humberly González, and her faithful companion, Nix, played by Dee Bradley Baker. The two characters will thus travel across the galaxy and discover numerous places both emblematic and new, from the humid jungles of Akiva to the windswept savannah of Toshara.
Between exploration, piloting the heroine’s ship, the Trailblazer, during aerial combat, and infiltration phases, the title seems more towards gameplay of the same type as that of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, rather than that, become damn redundant and problematic, of the Far Cry license, another in-house license from Ubisoft.
The icing on the cake is that we finally have a release date: Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30!
