If the Chinese manufacturer Mobvoi is best known in France for its connected watches under Wear OS with round screens, the firm also offers toquantes without the Google operating system. This was already the case with the TicWatch GTH, presented last year and it is also the case with its successor, the Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro.

Unveiled on Tuesday, this new connected watch logically takes over from the first TicWatch GTH. We therefore find a rectangular screen of 1.55 inches diagonally displaying a definition of 360 x 320 pixels as well as the RTOS operating system, the same that equips the OnePlus Watch or the Zepp and Amazfit watches. Enough to allow the TicWatch GTH Pro to display up to ten days of use with a 420 mAh battery. We can also note the 5 ATM water resistance certification which will allow the watch to be worn under water, at shallow depths.

An estimate of your arterial age

But where the new TicWatch GTH Pro stands out from all the smartwatches on the market is in the health data. The new Mobvoi thus offers a heart rate monitor positioned on the edge, coupled with an oximeter. Enough to measure both your heart rate, but also the oxygen saturation in the blood (SpO2).

The GTH Pro does not stop there and even goes further by advancing a “Arty Score”. It is actually a score based on blood pressure. The watch is indeed able to measure, thanks to this sensor, the blood pressure and to draw health analyzes from it. This is particularly the case for the arterial age which will be displayed according to your cardiovascular health.

In addition to this sensor positioned on the edge which will be used with the finger, the TicWatch GTH Pro also has a classic heart rate monitor on the back of the watch. This will be used to continuously measure the heart rate, including during the different phases of sleep, which are also analyzed. The watch also tracks your workouts across 14 different activities.

The Mobvoi TicWatch GTH Pro has so far been announced in the United States at a price of 99 dollars (89 euros excluding tax). It is not yet known whether the watch will be marketed in France.
