While the mobile version of Chrome has just welcomed a feature designed to facilitate your research, the web browser will now simplify screenshots while watching videos.
On Google Chrome, copy an image from a video in an instant
When watching a video on YouTube, you may have already wanted to capture a specific passage. Unfortunately, when pausing the video, you notice that the video progress bar remains on the screen. To remedy this, the Mountain View company recently announced in a blog post that it would deploy a brand new feature in the future version of Chrome.
To put it simply, it will offer you the possibility of capturing an image from a video that is playing. By right-clicking on your mouse, you will then be able to choose the “Copy video image” option to save your screenshot in no time. And because good news never comes alone, know that this option will work with any website, not just videos posted on YouTube. As reported to us by XDA Developers, the feature is being rolled out. So you shouldn’t have to wait long before you can try it at home.
