Marshall has unveiled a new Bluetooth speaker, the Middleton, featuring a stereo sound system and the ability to fine-tune the bass or treble volume.
For years, Marshall has been acclaimed for the quality and look of its Bluetooth speakers. It must be said that the British brand has been able to seduce with speakers reminiscent of the appearance of its electric guitar amps with the characteristic texture of the brand and its gold or silver finishes.
This week, Marshall has unveiled a new Bluetooth speaker with the signature of the manufacturer’s speakers. Still developed by Zoud Industries – which also manages Adidas and Urbanears headphones, earphones and speakers – the Marshall Middleton is a rather high-end Bluetooth speaker despite a relatively compact size of 109 x 230 x 95 mm. It thus weighs 1.8 kg on the scale and is equipped with a stereo sound qualified as ” multidirectional by the manufacturer. In detail, the Marshall Middleton is equipped with twowoofers3-inch tweeters associated with 15 W amplifiers and two 3/5-inch tweeters associated with 10 W amplifiers, in addition to two passive radiators. Enough to offer a frequency response of 50 to 20,000 Hz and a maximum volume of 87 dB SPL at 1 meter distance.
The ability to adjust the bass and treble on the speaker
The speaker also benefits from a little originality with the possibility of finely adjusting the bass or treble volume, not only with the associated application on a smartphone, but also using two buttons positioned on the top of the speaker. ‘pregnant. In addition, several Marshall Middleton speakers can be connected to the same source to amplify the sound signal.

Finally, we will also be able to use the speaker with wired sources thanks to the 3.5 mm jack input. However, no microphone is integrated and the speaker – only Bluetooth 5.1 with the SBC codec – does not allow voice calls.
The Marshall Middleton has been available since January 31. It is offered in a single color, black and copper, at a price of 299 euros.
