While conventional pool robots only remove floating dirt from the water surface, the Beatbot iSkim Ultra has an additional function. The ClearWater cleaning system automatically releases a cleaning solution, which cleans the water itself.

One kit containing 300 milliliters of cleaning solution is said to be sufficient for up to 375,000 liters (99,000 gallons) of water. Dirt, oils and metal residues are said to be removed, thereby preventing dirt buildup and keeping the pool clear.
