A new procedure by June
And one of them concerns individuals and is currently being deployed. This involves the generalization of access by social organizations to the bank account file, the famous Ficoba. This system is in place for family allowance funds, for the national health insurance fund, and will also be in place for the Cnav by June 2024.
Concretely, this system aims to automate bank identity verifications to fight against embezzlement of social benefits. According to a reference from the Court of Auditors in 2022only 6.1% of the new banking identities processed by Cnav and Carsat were subject to consultation by Ficoba.

Access by Cnav to the bank account file should also exempt users from having to send their RIB when changing bank accounts or when requesting a pension by checking in real time the bank details of the applicant, specifies the Cnav in its 2023-2027 agreement and management document.
