But a new rule risks putting obstacles in their way.
This year, Chris Marques has a considerable advantage. The juror present since the very first season will be the only one to have the use of the red buzzer. On the first two bonuses, he will be able to send a couple directly face-to-face, without giving them time to do their second dance. The candidate and his professional dancer will not know the scores of the jury. Of course, this red buzzer will be hidden in a briefcase so that the candidates do not see it. But that’s not all.
The return of the golden buzzer
In addition to this red buzzer, synonymous with face-to-face, the four members of the jury will have the immunity buzzer at their disposal. Already present in the previous season, this golden buzzer has the power to immunize one or more couples from the first two bonuses and to send them directly to the third bonus. Last year, the golden buzzer was used for the first performances of Bilal Hassani and Jordan Mouillerac, Tayc and Fauve Hautot but also Dita Von Teese and Christophe Licata.
