This new TikTok challenge is not unanimous

The social network is still talked about. If you don’t know Tik Tok, it’s a social network where you can post short videos, usually music. The great feature of TikTok are the challenges, which flock every week and bring together millions of people. We can do it as a couple, with friends, colleagues … but also with your baby! The most recent is to accidentally throw water on her baby's face. Like others before him, this challenge is not unanimous on the Web and for good reason, many of the babies filmed do not seem to appreciate this gesture, some even start to cry or shout.

A few months ago, it was the Cheese Baby Challenge's turn to invade the social network. You do not guess what it can consist of? Throw a slice of cheese on your baby's face! Smart, right? At that time, many pediatricians rebelled against this challenge, advancing in particular that the baby was not old enough to give consent for this kind of humiliation and that in addition to being surprised, some babies caught themselves the slice of cheese in the eye or on the nose and mouth at the same time.

Tik Tok madness

In the past two years, Tik Tok has made a historic global breakthrough. Originally named musical.ly, the social network gained millions of subscribers in record time. Today, there are nearly 800 million monthly active users and this growth does not seem to want to be reversed. Tik Tok finds its target heart with the youngest, 13-17 years old, but not only! Even adults get involved, celebrities … During the confinement, many of them actually registered on the social network to share with their fans challenges or dances. If Tik Tok can sometimes be sympathetic, light and friendly, it must be admitted that certain challenges which circulate there are however confusing, even bordering on ridiculous.
