this new zero-rate loan to finance your remaining charge

Promised since March 2022 for eco-PTZ offers issued from July 1, 2022, the possibility of coupling MaPrimeRnov’ with this system is now possible in Banque Populaire banks and Caisses d’pargne.

A zero-rate loan cost (co-PTZ) coupled with the public energy renovation aid scheme MaPrimeRnov’. This new category of eco-PTZ, intended finance the rest–load of work already financed by MaPrimeRnov’, was established by article 86 of the finance law for 2022. The latter also simplified the rules for compiling the application file for this co-loan. A decree of March 30, 2022 then specified the terms of application and the date of entry into force of the system.

If this novelty were to apply to co-PTZ offers put in place from July 1, 2022, it will however have been necessary to wait until November to have further news. We are going to set up a zero-rate loan, the eco-loan, and banks (…) from today are able to offer this loan, Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne, thus let it be known Olivier Klein, the Minister of Housing, on RTL a few days ago.

Simplify and lighten the procedures

Concretely, how does it work? In a press release, the BPCE group announces that if until now individuals who wished to benefit from the eco-PTZ had to provide their bank with several supporting documents, the customer only sends his Banque Populaire or his Caisse d’Epargne Anah’s decision to grant MaPrimeRnov’. This new process allows the borrower to simplify his procedures and considerably lighten the elements provided for the loan application, adds the banking group. Clearly, rather than having to provide numerous documents in duplicate (forms signed by the companies carrying out the work, quotes, invoices), it will now suffice to prove to the bank that you benefit from MaPrimeRnov’. The procedure can be carried out with a bank adviser.

The Banque Populaire banks and the Caisses d’Epargne are today the leading banks in France to offer individuals the Eco-PTZ MaPrimeRnov’ couple offer. This new device will allow them to carry out their energy renovation projects in a simpler and faster waywelcomes Jrme Terpereau, general manager of retail banking and insurance for the BPCE group.

What amount can individuals expect then? This co-PTZ cannot exceed 30,000 euros. In addition, since it is intended to finance a remaining charge, it cannot logically exceed the amount of expenses giving rise to MyPrimeRnov’, minus the said premium. For example, for renovation work in the amount of 20,000 euros with the granting of a bonus of 7,000 euros, the amount of the eco-PTZ granted cannot exceed 13,000 euros.
