An edible oil sold in Auchan stores was voluntarily recalled by the brand. Risks of allergies can occur in case of consumption.

Consumers are used to seeing their favorite products leave the shelves. Following the Kinder egg affair and the Buitoni frozen pizza scandal, the French are more and more attentive to what they put on their plate. This does not seem to prevent product recalls in supermarkets.
While consumers have seen the Saint Malo brand urgently recall its yoghurts, it is the turn ofan edible oil sold at Auchan to be put off. According to the website Rappel.conso.gouv.fr, the supermarket has just warned against undeclared allergenic substances. In the recall sheet communicated by the government, the oil in question is none other than that with nuts. The latter comes in a 250ml bottle, i.e. 25cl and contains undisclosed allergenic substances. It is therefore advisable not to consume the product and to return it to the store quickly. Auchan plans to reimburse customers who have purchased the walnut oil of its brand.
